Biographical Note:

Ulisses Bahia is an advertising professional. He worked in 0 Globo - the most important newspaper from Rio de Janeiro and one of the most important ones in the whole country - for 12 years. Ulisses was born in Rio de Janeiro in 1944. He has painted for 30 years, but just for 10 as a professional. His artistic background includes drawing lessons at the National School of Fine Arts and at the Visual Art School of Park Lage, two reference centres in fine arts in Rio de Janeiro. He owns a contemporary style, using a mixed technique, in which the acrylic and materials such as raw cotton are some of the key elements for the original and surprising outcome of his work.
