Biographical Note
Patsy McArthur, born in 1976, studied painting at Gray’s School of Art, Aberdeen in North East Scotland. From there she spent some months in Florence on a RSA scholarship which proved to be a highly
productive time as well as giving her a taste of the sun. After this scholarship McArthur spent a couple of years in Glasgow before embarking on a Masters Degree at Winchester School of Art, Barcelona, becoming more and more focused on drawing, although painting remains a strong practice. Being a ‘experience junkie’ McArthuer spends a lot of time travelling and has spent three years living in Spain. She is also keen to spend more time in New York to further her artist career which has proved very successful so far. |
