JENNIFER IRVINE

Biographical Note Jennifer Irvine paints from her studio in Glasgow. Her subject matter tends to fall into two categories - still life and townscape painting. The townscapes originate from regular trips to Ireland and less frequent ones to France, Italy and Spain. The still life paintings are typically of extravagant flowers, fruit and drapery, portrayed in rich vivid colour with a profusion of pattern. Jennifer Irvine was recently elected onto the Council of The Royal Glasgow Institute and also The Glasgow Art Club Council. She lives in Glasgow and is married with one son.
